Become the Kind of Plant Medicine Guide People Actually Trust.
A 2.5-month hybrid training that gives you the psychology, the ceremony, and the real-world practicum to facilitate safely and confidently. Remote foundations. 9 days on-site in Costa Rica. One month of direct mentorship after.
I built this training because I watched too many well-meaning facilitators hurt people they were trying to help. Not from malice. From gaps in their training that nobody had closed.
15 years of ceremony work. Three continents of teachers. Hundreds of clients held through the hardest moments of their lives. Everything I learned the hard way is now in this program.
If you're serious about doing this work properly, I'll teach you what I wish someone had taught me at the start. The psychology, the ceremony craft, the real-world practicum, and the ethics that keep your clients safe and your name clean.

The Arbol Method Facilitator’s Training
Where Psychology, Ceremony, and Service Become One Path
A 2.5-Month Hybrid Journey to Become a Safe, Skilled, and Heart-Centred Plant Medicine Guide
Most people who want to facilitate plant medicine work already know they are called to it. That part is not the question.
The question is: how do you do it safely? How do you hold someone through the hardest moment of their life without flinching? How do you know when someone is in trauma activation versus having a difficult but productive experience? How do you handle the weeks after, when the insights start fading and the old patterns come back?
This training was built to answer those questions. Not with theory. With supervised practice, direct mentorship, and a structured framework you can actually use.
Why This Training Exists
Most plant medicine facilitators learn by doing and hope nothing goes wrong. There is almost no structured training that combines psychological preparation, hands-on practicum, and post-training integration support in a single program.
Faisal built The Arbol Method over 15 years of working directly with hundreds of people across multiple traditions. The same gaps he kept seeing in his own clients, people who had powerful ceremony experiences but no one to guide the landing, were the same gaps he saw in aspiring facilitators. Big intentions. Not enough structure. Not enough safety training. Not enough understanding of what the nervous system actually needs.
This program exists to close that gap. It gives you the psychological foundation before you arrive, the supervised practicum while you are on-site, and the mentorship after to turn what you learned into something you can actually build on.
Built on 15 Years of Safe Practice
You're learning from a facility with real infrastructure, not a rented villa.
15+ years of direct ceremony experience
Hundreds of clients guided safely through intensive inner work
Ruhani Safety Certified: AED equipment and CPR-trained staff on-site
Medical and psychological screening is built into every program
Licensed NLP Practitioner. Certified Hypnotherapist.
You're not just learning what safe practice looks like. You're training inside it.
Why 2.5 Months Instead of a Weekend Certification
There are weekend plant medicine facilitator certs out there. You can get a certificate in three days. You won't be able to safely hold someone in crisis with three days of training.
Real facilitator skill takes time. Time to learn the psychology before you touch the ceremony. Time to practice under supervision with someone watching your blind spots. Time to integrate what you learned with direct mentorship after.
2.5 months is the minimum we can compress this into without cutting something that matters.
A weekend cert is a piece of paper. This is actually being ready.

What You'll Actually Be Able to Do by the End
A facilitator certification is only worth the skills it gives you. Here's what you'll be able to do when this training ends that you cannot do now.
Read a nervous system in real time. You'll know the difference between someone having a hard but productive experience and someone sliding into trauma activation. You'll know exactly when to intervene and exactly when to hold steady.
De-escalate a participant who is flooding. Panic, dissociation, emotional overwhelm, grief waves that won't stop. You'll have tools that work under pressure because you'll have practiced them under supervision.
Design and lead a full ceremony. Altar work. Opening prayers. Sound and silence. Energetic hygiene. The closing. You'll understand the craft, not just the sequence.
Screen clients safely. Medical contraindications. Psychological red flags. Medication interactions. You'll know who's a fit, who isn't, and how to tell them the truth.
Hold the emotional field of a group. You'll walk into a room of 8 people and know how to track group energy, individual distress, and the flow of the session all at once.
Guide real integration after the ceremony. You'll know how to structure the weeks after so the shift actually lands, not just fades.
Run your own retreat end-to-end. From the discovery call to the post-retreat integration session. You get the full blueprint and the skill to use it.
This is what separates a facilitator people trust from a facilitator people hope doesn't mess up.
Who This is For
This training is for people who have done their own deep work and are ready to shift from participant to guide.
You may be a therapist, coach, or wellness practitioner who wants to integrate plant medicine principles into your existing practice. You may be someone who has been through ceremony multiple times and keeps being pulled toward supporting others through it. You may be at the beginning of a career shift and want a structured foundation rather than learning through trial and error in the field.
What matters more than background is readiness. You need to have done enough of your own healing to show up for someone else's without your unresolved material running the room. The pre-training month is designed to help you assess exactly that.
The training will stretch you personally. That's expected. The focus is on your facilitation skills, not your therapy. If you need more of your own healing first, we'll tell you directly and recommend The Reset Retreat before you come back for this.
This training is not for people looking for a certificate to hang on a wall. It is for people who want to do this work properly, which means safely, ethically, and with real skill behind them.
The Truth
People don’t choose a facilitator because of certificates.
They choose because of presence.
Because of trust.
Because they feel safe with you.
This training gives you the presence, skill, and deep inner work that make you that kind of guide.
You won’t just learn to hold medicine.
You’ll learn to hold people.
What Waiting Actually Costs
You already know you want to facilitate this work. The question is whether you do it safely or whether you learn the hard way with someone else paying the price.
Every month you wait is another month of watching people get hurt by well-meaning facilitators who weren't ready. Another month of feeling the pull to step into this role without the skills to back it up. Another month of the person you'd be guiding next year being held by someone less prepared than you could have become.
This work is too serious for trial and error. The people who end up in your ceremony room trust that you know what you're doing. They deserve a facilitator who actually does.
Apply for the Next Cohort
Small cohort. Capacity limited by the 9-day on-site practicum. Every application is reviewed personally by Faisal.
If you're serious about this work, the application is the right first step. It starts a conversation, not an enrollment. We'll tell you directly if the timing or the fit isn't right.
One application. One honest conversation. No pitch.
The Investment
$20,000 for the complete 2.5-month program.
For context, piecing this together on your own means a weekend cert (one to three thousand), a separate ethics training (two to four thousand), a self-built curriculum of books and courses (one to two thousand), years of unpaid apprentice work, and a steep learning curve paid for by your first clients who didn't know you were still learning.
Most facilitators spend 30K to 50K over three to five years assembling the same skills you'll walk away with here in 2.5 months. And most of them still won't have the practicum hours, the blueprint documents, or direct mentorship from someone who has held hundreds of ceremonies.
What's included:
One month of remote foundations. Two live Zoom calls, weekly lessons, case studies, self-paced homework.
9 days on-site at Ruhani Wellness Centre in Costa Rica. Accommodation, meals, all ceremonies, supervised practicum, direct mentorship with Faisal.
One month of post-training mentorship. Two more live calls, practice integration sessions with feedback, your complete Facilitator Blueprint.
The Blueprint alone includes 10 professional documents (intake forms, medical history, liability waiver, red flags screening, retreat handbook, client scripts, and the full integration guide). Most facilitators take years to build what you walk away with on day one.
Nothing is added after enrollment. Everything is included.
