Meet Faisal The Holistic Sherpa

I didn't come to this work inspired.

I came restless. Anxious. Tired of my own searching.

For years I threw myself at everything that promised to help. Self-empowerment courses. Extreme embodiment practices. Breaking arrows with my throat. Lying on beds of nails. Walking high mountains with my teacher while working with plant medicines. Deep psychological work with different guides.

From the outside it looked like dedication.

Inside, something still felt off.

What I wanted wasn't another breakthrough. I wanted peace that stayed. Clarity that didn't evaporate by Tuesday. A sense of purpose I could live from, not keep chasing.

I wanted to wake up and feel like nothing essential was missing.

Sacred plant medicines opened something in me that nothing else had. They showed me freedom, truth, and real possibility. Doors I didn't know existed swung wide open.

Then the ceremonies ended.

And the old patterns came back.

The sadness. The anxiety. The same questions, circling again.

That was painful to face. I wanted the ceremonies to be the answer. They were profound. They were also not enough.

The missing piece wasn't more ceremony. It was what happens after you walk out of the circle and back into your actual life.

That realization took years to land. And when it did, it changed everything about how I work.

During a family trip to Costa Rica, something quieted in me long enough to hear a clear inner signal.

We bought a piece of mountain land in Guanacaste.

It made no logical sense at the time. We did it anyway.

Slowly, through patience and real effort, that land became buildings. What grew out of it wasn't just a retreat centre. It became a place where I could finally do the work I'd been building toward for over a decade.

People started coming for ceremonies. Intelligent people. Sincere people. People who had already done therapy, coaching, energy work, plant medicine. People full of insights who still felt scattered afterward.

They kept asking the same question I had asked myself for years.

"Why does it fade?"

That question is why The Arbol Method exists.

Ceremonies open the door.

They don't teach you how to live on the other side of it.

Real change happens in the daily work of landing insights into the nervous system. Into behavior. Into relationships. Into how you treat yourself when nobody's watching.

That's integration. And it's where most healing frameworks stop short.

The Arbol Method brings together psychology, shamanic wisdom, and a grounded understanding of how the nervous system actually changes. It's slow by design. Honest by necessity. Built for adults who are done searching and ready to stabilize what they already know.

The people who come through Ruhani stop seeing themselves as seekers who need fixing.

They start experiencing themselves as whole adults who hold insight, responsibility, and calm at the same time.

That shift doesn't happen from one powerful weekend.

It builds. Slowly. With real support.

That's what we do here.

10+ years of direct apprenticeship in Ayahuasca and Wachuma traditions.

Founder, Ruhani Wellness Centre, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

Creator of The Arbol Method and the 4-Pillar Container Protocol.

The Holistic Sherpa’s Book

Coming Soon

This book started as notes from the ceremony room.

It became something harder to explain.

Part memoir, part field guide, part honest confession from someone who searched too long in the wrong directions before finding what actually works.

The Holistic Sherpa doesn't give you a system. It gives you a mirror.

Seventeen chapters. Four parts. Written the way real healing actually moves, nonlinear, a little rough, and more honest than most people are comfortable with.

If you've read every book on the shelf and still feel like something's missing, this one was written for you.
