The Arbol Weekend is 3 nights on our land in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, with 2 ceremonies held by Holistic Sherpa Faisal Khattak. It runs as two weekends: Ayahuasca & Wachuma, and Two Ayahuasca Nights. You arrive Friday at 3:30 pm, sleep in a private room and every meal is included. Groups of 2 to 8, $1,800 per person.

The Arbol Weekend - Ayahuasca & Wachuma
Friday. Arrive at 3:30 pm, settle in, ayahuasca ceremony at night.
Saturday. Integration day. Rest, a circle with Faisal, time on the land.
Sunday. Wachuma ceremony at first light. The San Pedro cactus, worked outside in daylight.
Monday. Breakfast, closing circle, home.

Why does a 9-week program run a 3-night retreat?
Ruhani is built around The Arbol Method, our 9-week program. Some people don't have 9 weeks to step away yet, or the full investment doesn't fit this year. The Arbol Weekend exists for them.
It runs a short version of all three Arbol phases. Container Build is the screening and the preparation manual. Held Descent is 2 ceremonies with Faisal in the room. Integration Lock is the integration day on site and the 7-day manual at home.
The weekend opens the door. The 9 weeks of The Reset Retreat are what make the change hold, with 4 weeks of preparation before and 4 weeks of integration after.
Is 3 days enough, or the full Reset Retreat?
3 days is enough if you have sat in ceremony before, you know how your body responds, and you want a reset with a guide you trust.
Choose The Reset Retreat if this is your first ceremony, if you carry something heavy for other people, or if you've done short retreats before and watched the change fade within weeks. It gives you 7 days on site, 3 ceremonies and 8 weeks of support around them. See the 7-day ayahuasca retreat.

Dates and deposit
Groups of 2 to 8. A date runs once 2 guests are booked, and your deposit stays fully refundable until your date is confirmed. If a date doesn't fill, you hear from us within 24 hours with two options: a full refund, or a move to another date with your price held.

How much is a weekend ayahuasca retreat at Ruhani?

Which weekend is right for me?

What about my medications?
Some medications, including many antidepressants, don't mix with ayahuasca. The screening catches this, and any change happens with your doctor, never on your own. Read what not to mix with ayahuasca.
How long is the dieta?
At least 10 days before your first ceremony. The preparation manual lays out the food, the timing and what to avoid.
Will I purge?
Most people do at some point. Purging is part of how ayahuasca works, and the team stays with you through it. More on the ayahuasca purge.
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes, in full, until your date is confirmed.
Do I need ceremony experience?
No. First-timers are welcome after screening. If this is your first ceremony and you carry a lot, Faisal will point you to The Reset Retreat, which gives you 4 weeks of preparation first.
